Slow Cooked Steak Soup

Slow cooking is hot right now. I thought I would bring back on of our favorites. These are all items you can keep on hand for an easy meal any night of the week!

1 lb boneless round steak
1 jar/can chunky vegetable spaghetti sauce
1/2 package frozen cheese filled ravioli
2 1/2 cups water
Parmesan cheese


Cut steak into bite size pieces and bag in zipper bag (if making ahead) or place in slow cooker.
Almost any steak will work. Get what is on sale! I used Eye of Round steak, it was on mark down that day.




Add spaghetti sauce and water. Cook on low 8 hours. I use Hunts in a can. I can get it for $1.00 at WalMart.




Add frozen ravioli the last 45 minutes of cooking. This soup is really good. It is reminds me of a beef stew.



Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.
